Vegetable & Fruit Peels: Don't throw them away

After eating delicious fruits and vegetables, not  many people know that the leftover vegetable peels can be useful as well.....Here is all you need to know before you throw away those 'unwanted' looking fruits and vegetable peels in your bin.

GRAPEFRUITS, AVOCADOES, AND ORANGES:





You would love to see your seed growing in the orange, grapefuit, or avocado peel. These fruit peels left you with organic shells that make biodegradable seedling pots. Just scoop out your favorite fruit and then plant your seed in the shell. You can later move this on to the bigger pot as this begins to grow...beautiful and cute!! Isn't it


LEMON PICKLE


One of the favorite Indian recipe for all seasons, once you are done with squeezing lemons to your lemonade and are left with those lemon skins, prepare your pickle by: Adding ample amount of sugar and bit of salt in a glass jar kept in sunlight for about 15 days to enjoy  your lemon pickle with your favorite sandwiches.

PEACH SKIN



If you think that peach skin is of no use, you need to try this once. Being rich in potassium and vitamin A, skin of the peaches, if used regularly on the skin, can bring back your lost glow by nourishing your skin.

POTATO PEELS



Do you know that you need not buy those expensive under eye creams if you use potato peels on your eyes for a month. All you need to do is press the inside of a peel on your eyes and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. It has a unique soothing effect on your eyes that you are sure to love.
